My first week at Back Lane West, Redruth and it has been great to get out all the work I have made thus far on the PhD, finish and frame prints and start to think about how the work will work together in the space. I have the curation plans that Carol and I devised to work from and adapt as I start to put work on the walls. This is an important, though challenging part, of the process of making putting the objects/images into the world it helps if I think about them being prompts for conversation rather than worrying about criticism or approbation.
