It is so valuable to to have time to play collectively, share stories and just be in each others company. We went walking, drawing and creating drawing installations in the woods with the material of the woods and on our return to Mol’s straw bale studio worked on a large collective drawing that then developed into playing with glass paint and enamels on rectangles of float glass. We moved around them and moved them responding to each others marks.
I also decided that if my studio is to ever be a comfortable working space then I need to buy another shed and move the materials into it so I’ve got more space to create in.
I worked on my images for the Invisible Scotland book, working into the photo of and started thinking about the text i want to include.
